Know Before You Go: Your Guide to CLEANPOWER 2025

CLEANPOWER 2025 is a must attend event for professionals driving the clean energy transition. From May 19th to May 22nd, the Phoenix Convention Center will host top companies, policymakers, innovators and thought leaders working across all segments of the renewable industry. With a shared commitment to sustainability and combating climate change, attendees will come together to share insights, establish new partnerships and explore cutting-edge solutions shaping the future of energy. The Large Scale team from SMA America is excited to be a part of the conference, looking forward to finding deeper connections, building meaningful new relationships and strengthening partnerships with our customers. In 2024, more than 10,000 people participated in the event and this year promises to be even bigger.

With 450+ exhibitors, hands-on sessions and impactful networking opportunities throughout the week. To say each day is full, would be an understatement. This guide can help you, the CLEANPOWER attendee, navigate the details, invitations and more throughout your time in Phoenix:

Registration

First things first, you’ve got to get your credentials and passes. Registration opens on Monday, May 19th from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Phoenix Convention Center. Badge pickup is available until 7:00 pm and again on Tuesday, May 20th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The exhibition halls open Tuesday, with Upper Halls running 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Lower Halls from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Fun in the Sun

Kick off your week on the right course at the CLEANPOWER 2025 Golf Tournament on Monday, May 19th, at Whirlwind Golf Club from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Be sure to swing by and say hello to Fred Frank, Strategic Sales Manager for Repowering & Service. With over six years in the solar industry, Fred is a fantastic person to connect with. He’s a hole-in-one connection and definitely above par when it comes to Repowering, discussing new projects, spare parts sales, extended warranties and providing training quotes.

If the green isn’t your scene, get ready to lace up your running shoes for the CLEANPOWER Power Up 5k Run and 2.5K Walk on Tuesday, May 20th, starting at 6:00 am. This is a great opportunity to connect with others who share the same passion of powering towards a renewable and clean future. Attend the Spark Tank Sessions

One session you won’t want to miss is our Spark Tank presentation with Allan Alves Montanari, Senior Principal Applications Engineer at SMA America. Join us on Thursday, May 22nd from 11:00 to11:25 am at the Spark Tank Stage (Lower Level) to learn how SMA’s advanced technologies including terminal-level voltage control, silicon carbide integration and modular system architecture, can unlock new value and improve supporting the transition to advanced grid-forming technologies.
