Regional Forums Continue to Deliver SMA to a City near You

Last year was extremely successful for SMA’s Regional Forum program. From coast to coast SMA’s Sunny PRO Club team met and networked with some of the solar industry’s brightest professionals.

Regional forums are free one-day events designed to provide solar professionals with technical training, marketing solutions and hands-on product workshops.  Attendees are also eligible to receive NABCEP Continuing Education Credits. The forums are hosted by SMA’s Sunny PRO Club—a membership-based professional partnership program for solar installers.

A Reflection Back

Since the inception of the regional forums the Sunny PRO Club team has had the opportunity to interact with thousands of people and deliver the best of what SMA has to offer.

“Solar professionals benefit from free technical training and advanced product information, and gain tools for developing their businesses.  At the same time, SMA gathers critical information from installers in every city we visit, which helps us learn the factors that drive their businesses.” – Karim Alzanoon, Membership Development Specialist, Sunny PRO Club

Throughout the past year SMA America’s Sunny PRO Club team members have traveled to 16 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Those travels benefited not only forum attendees, but SMA America as well.

SMA America has been able to see industry trends firsthand throughout all regions of North America and collect valuable feedback from local installers and solar professionals.

“Before attending a regional forum in Denver last year, we at Nixon Solar were not aware of the support SMA offered to solar professionals in this very technical and demanding industry.” – Mark Brennan of NIXONSOLAR

A Look Toward the Future

The 2013 Regional Forum schedule is ambitious and full of exciting presentations featuring new technology and product information. SMA America is hosting 20 Regional Forums throughout North America from Honolulu to Long Island.

“The team is excited about the new content for this year’s Regional Forums. This year we will see several new products hit the market, and these events will be the first opportunity most people have to hear about them.” – Michelle Graska, Member Logistics Coordinator, Sunny PRO Club
