Meine Hobbys: Meinen Kindern vorlesen, Freiwilligenarbeit bei meinem lokalen Fußballclub, Skifahren, Weinverkostung (allerdings nur gute Weine).

Was selbst meine Kollegen nicht von mir wissen: Ich bin nach Nepal gereist, um dort im Rahmen eines Hilfsprojekts ein solares Beleuchtungssystem für ein ländliches Krankenhaus zu liefern und zu installieren. Im Jahr 2004 wurde ich von Prinz Philip persönlich mit der Auszeichnung Gold Duke of Edinburgh geehrt. Einmal musste ich bei einer Wanderung eine ganze Nacht in der Wildnis verbringen, weil unsere Gruppe die Karte seitenverkehrt gelesen und sich verirrt hatte.
