The largest solar and storage trade show in North America, Solar Power International (SPI)<\/a>, is back this September in Anaheim, California, providing us with an amazing platform to present SMA\u2019s latest solutions for the residential, commercial, utility, storage and O&M markets.<\/p>\n

With so many developments to show you, we thought we would give you a sneak peek<\/a>!<\/p>\n

This year, SPI is expanding its footprint to include the Smart Energy Microgrid Marketplace<\/a> as part of North America Smart Energy Week. At our Smart Energy booth located inside the Exhibit Hall (#4038)<\/a>, SMA will be featuring the Sunny Boy Storage-US<\/a> solution, which is now available for shipping. SMA experts will also be on hand to discuss AC and DC coupled solutions for utility storage.<\/p>\n

Additionally, SMA will host an outdoor booth on the Grand Plaza (booth #6001)<\/a> to display multiple solutions for the residential, commercial, utility and O&M markets.<\/p>\n

Visitors will have the opportunity speak with SMA experts about our newest enhancements to the Power+<\/a> residential solution including advanced AFCI functionality, compatibility with the Sunspec rapid shutdown signal, and options for integrating a revenue grade meter and cellular modem.<\/p>\n

Amongst our highlights for the commercial market are the two new Sunny Tripower CORE1<\/a> power classes upgraded with the latest safety technologies and powered by ennexOS<\/a>, the company’s award-winning<\/a> platform for cross-sector energy management. The CORE1 is further enhanced when combined with the TS4-R-F<\/a> retrofit module-level device which operates on the multi-vendor, industry standard Sunspec shutdown signal and provides a reliable, cost-effective solution to achieve compliance with 2017 NEC module-level rapid shutdown requirements in commercial rooftop systems.<\/p>\n

\"sma-sunny-highpower-peak3-5831\"We will also present major advancements in SMA offerings for the utility sector as we unveil the Sunny Highpower PEAK3<\/a><\/u>, an ideal solution for large-scale solar projects because of its flexibility, simplicity and performance. Those with special interest in the utility segment will also be able to participate in the SMA Utility-Scale PV & Storage Forum on Thursday, September 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Anaheim Hilton adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center. Topics will include grid interconnection challenges and a discussion around centralized and modular plant architectures. Our experts will discuss storage and repowering wand present relevant case studies. Utility stakeholders can register for the forum online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For those more concerned with the operation of a plant rather than its construction, representatives will be on hand to talk about SMA OPTIM<\/a>, which delivers leading plant-wide O&M solutions. Highlighted services include aerial thermography and storage O&M.<\/p>\n
