The second site, in nearby Woodbury, produces the other 7.5 megawatts of the system\u2019s total power.<\/p>\n<p>Attending the ceremony and eager to get a glimpse of the system were SMA\u2019s Jeff Krantz, vice president of sales for Power Plant Solutions, and John Megna, director of business development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis site will be producing clean, renewable power for the next 20 years, benefitting thousands of local residents, \u201c said Krantz after the event. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to have our inverters be part of this truly impressive system. We hope to see large-scale solar continuing to play a role in Georgia\u2019s power portfolio.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.radiancesolar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Radiance Solar<\/a>, the project\u2019s EPC, designed and installed the system with a total of 78,190 modules and 25 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sma-america.com\/en_US\/products\/grid-tied-inverters\/sunny-central\/sunny-central-500cp-us-630cp-us-720cp-us-750cp-us-800cp-us-850cp-us-900-cp-us.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sunny Central 800CP-US<\/a> inverters, generating enough annual power for nearly 6,000 homes.
