Malgr\u00e9 cela, certains m\u00e9dias en ligne affirment que les installations photovolta\u00efques provoquent des incendies et mettent les pompiers en grand danger. Ces articles r\u00e9pandent des craintes au sujet de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des installations photovolta\u00efques et sont parfois utilis\u00e9s pour vendre des produits de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaires comme les dispositifs de coupure des modules photovolta\u00efques. Heureusement, ces craintes ne sont pas fond\u00e9es.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans cet article, nous montrons les r\u00e9sultats d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes approfondies qui indiquent que les installations photovolta\u00efques actuelles sont s\u00fbres et les incendies sont rares. Si un incendie devait malgr\u00e9 tout se produire, les pompiers seraient parfaitement en mesure d\u2019\u00e9teindre le feu en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>1. Les incendies caus\u00e9s par les installations photovolta\u00efques sont rares<\/h2>\n<p>Les instituts de recherche et d&rsquo;essais ind\u00e9pendants T\u00dcV Rheinland [1] et Fraunhofer ISE [2], ont constat\u00e9 que moins de 0,006% des installations photovolta\u00efques ont provoqu\u00e9 des incendies en Allemagne. D&rsquo;autres pays comme le Japon, les Pays-Bas et l&rsquo;Australie font \u00e9tat de chiffres similaires [3] [4]\n<h2>2. Data source: T\u00dcV [1].<\/p><\/div>Parmi le petit nombre d&rsquo;incendies d\u2019installations photovolta\u00efques, ce sont surtout les \u00ab erreurs humaines \u00bb qui sont \u00e0 bl\u00e2mer. Le rapport du T\u00dcV a enqu\u00eat\u00e9 sur 210 incendies photovolta\u00efques et a constat\u00e9 que la majorit\u00e9 des incendies caus\u00e9s par des installations photovolta\u00efques sont dus \u00e0 une mauvaise fabrication suivie d\u2019une mauvaise ex\u00e9cution. [1].<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Erreur d\u2019installation<\/strong>: raccordements DC reli\u00e9s de fa\u00e7on incorrecte, connecteurs mal sertis, c\u00e2bles trop tendus, etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>D\u00e9faillances du produit<\/strong>: modules photovolta\u00efques ou onduleurs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Facteur externe<\/strong>: Facteur externe<\/li>\n<li><strong>Erreur de conception<\/strong>: mauvaise conception m\u00e9canique ou \u00e9lectrique (mauvais choix de sectionneurs DC ou de c\u00e2blage, par exemple)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Une mauvaise conception ou une installation peuvent \u00eatre \u00e0 l\u2019origine d\u2019un incendie car elles entra\u00eenent un risque accru d\u2019arc \u00e9lectrique. Les arcs \u00e9lectriques surviennent souvent \u00e0 la suite d\u2019une coupure involontaire du circuit \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<p>En Allemagne, en Australie et au Royaume-Uni, la majorit\u00e9 des d\u00e9fauts se sont produits du c\u00f4t\u00e9 DC du circuit (modules photovolta\u00efques, c\u00e2blage DC, sectionneurs DC, etc.). [1] [3] [4] [5]. La probabilit\u00e9 ici est \u00e9lev\u00e9e parce qu&rsquo;il y a beaucoup de composants et de connexions du c\u00f4t\u00e9 DC. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que de nombreux composants et raccordements se trouvent du c\u00f4t\u00e9 DC, des composants d\u00e9fectueux ou des raccordements incorrects peuvent aussi faire grimper le taux de panne.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Des dispositifs de coupure au niveau du module sont-ils n\u00e9cessaires ?<\/h2>\n<p>Pour faire court, non. Voil\u00e0 pourquoi :<\/p>\n<p>La s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des installations photovolta\u00efques a sans cesse \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9e par l\u2019introduction de nouvelles fonctions de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. L\u2019on pourrait donc supposer que l\u2019ajout d\u2019appareils de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaires renforce la s\u00e9curit\u00e9. C\u2019est pourtant le contraire qui est le cas : ajouter des appareils suppl\u00e9mentaires augmente le nombre de raccordements et de composants susceptibles de tomber en panne. En ajoutant des dispositifs de coupure des panneaux par exemple, on multiplie par deux le nombre de raccordements DC ! L\u2019institut de contr\u00f4le ind\u00e9pendant T\u00dcV ne prescrit donc pas l\u2019utilisation d\u2019appareils de coupure de panneaux : \u00ab le d\u00e9bat objectif \u00e0 ce sujet a conduit le corps des sapeurs-pompiers \u00e0 revenir sur sa revendication de g\u00e9n\u00e9raliser la mise en place de dispositifs de coupure au motif que tout syst\u00e8me de coupure peut tomber en panne \u00bb [1].<\/p>\n<p>Si une \u00e9lectronique de puissance au niveau des panneaux s\u2019av\u00e8re dans certains cas n\u00e9cessaire, les propri\u00e9taires d\u2019installations photovolta\u00efques doivent veiller \u00e0 l\u2019utiliser avec parcimonie. L\u2019utilisation d\u2019optimiseurs solaires peut par exemple \u00eatre pertinente dans le cas d\u2019installations fortement ombrag\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h2>Conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>Il est tr\u00e8s rare que des incendies surviennent dans des installations photovolta\u00efques si ces derni\u00e8res ont \u00e9t\u00e9 correctement con\u00e7ues et install\u00e9es. C\u2019est ce que confirme l\u2019analyse des incendies qui ont eu lieu jusqu\u2019ici dans des installations photovolta\u00efques. Il est possible d\u2019am\u00e9liorer encore davantage la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des installations photovolta\u00efques en \u00e9liminant les causes les plus fr\u00e9quentes de formation d\u2019arcs \u00e9lectriques DC, qui sont majoritairement imputables \u00e0 des erreurs humaines lors des phases de conception et d\u2019installation.
