Delivery of the radio-controlled sockets is delayed<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cDue to the shortage of components and bottlenecks in production, we are currently experiencing delays in the delivery of WLAN Edimax SP-2101W V2 radio-controlled sockets,\u201d said Ugur G\u00f6ksu, business director at Edimax. \u201cThe expected delivery date in Europe is May 2019.\u201c<\/p>\n

Update improves communication between SHM 2.0 and Edimax radio-controlled sockets<\/h2>\n

In the past, there were some technical problems with the communication between the new Edimax SP-2101W radio-controlled socket 3.0 firmware and the Sunny \u00a0Home\u00a0Manager 2.0. With this new product update, Edimax has improved the connection to the Edimax Cloud. With the new firmware of the Sunny Home Manager 2.02.15.R it is now possible to use Edimax Smart Plug again.<\/p>\n

This is what you need to do<\/h2>\n

When the auto-update function for the Sunny\u00a0Home\u00a0Manager is enabled, you do not need to take any further action as the Sunny\u00a0Home\u00a0Manager will be updated automatically.<\/p>\n

For the Edimax Smart Plug, please note:
\nDue to a server change at Edimax, the following Edimax radio sockets need an update until May, 1., to ensure compatibility with the SMA Sunny Home Manager:<\/p>\n

– Edimax Smart Plug 2.09
\n– Edimax Smart Plug 1.0 (Hardware Version 2)<\/p>\n

Versions 2.03 and 2.08 do not necessarily require an update because they can communicate locally with the Sunny Home Manager without a cloud. The EdiLife App can still be used for these products.<\/p>\n
