The small idea to bring joy to area children turned into a big donation recently, as the SMA team\u00a0<\/strong><strong>donated nearly 2,000 teddy bears to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu\/children\/\" target=\"_blank\">UC Davis Children\u2019s Hospital<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_6633\" style=\"width: 272px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.smainverted.com\/files\/2014\/06\/IMG_6383.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6633\" class=\"wp-image-6633 size-medium lazyload\" title=\"Sunny Bears being unloaded and readied for delivery. \" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.smainverted.com\/files\/2014\/06\/IMG_6383-262x174.jpg\" alt=\"Sunny Bears being unloaded and readied for delivery. \" width=\"262\" height=\"174\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 262px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 262\/174;\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-6633\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sunny Bears being unloaded and readied for delivery.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Sunny Bears were handed out to the excited patients on hand the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu\/publish\/news\/children\/8994\" target=\"_blank\">day of the donation<\/a>, each taking a turn to pick out a bear and say thanks to one of the SMA team members on hand.
