You take a few more steps \u2013 oh no \u2013 a large beast stands before you on the forest trail. <!--more--><br \/>\nYou watch it in suspense and slowly approach with cautious steps.<\/p>\n<p>This is the mountain wildlife park in Germerode in which many animals enjoy roaming free. A weekend visit to Meissner is especially nice now in Fall, as the leaves are changing colors and starting to blanket the forest floor as the wind whistles through the woods.<\/p>\n<p>The wildlife park is a great destination for small day trips.
